Led by God, the members of First Baptist Church had a desire to provide the students of our community with an educational environment in which achieving one’s best and developing godly character were synonymous. Their vision was to teach the minds and reach the hearts of young people in our community and beyond.
In 1983, Community Christian School was born as a fulfillment of that vision. CCS was Charlotte County’s first Christian School and served students in grades Kindergarten through 8th Grade. In 1995, CCS added high school classes to meet the demand of families who desired a complete secondary experience. We proudly graduated our first Senior class in 1999, and have been producing intellectually equipped and spiritually sensitive graduates for almost 20 years.
Today, CCS students and parents benefit from the vision, faith, and experience that comes from educating a generation of our community’s young people. As we begin to educate the next generation, CCS is dedicated to providing its students with an educational program that is academically rigorous, culturally relevant, and spiritually robust.
